CATHOLIC SISTERS UNITED IN CHRIST
CSU was founded in 1994. It was observed that young woman yearned for deeper knowledge of faith, spiritual growth and more involvement in the Church. Unfortunately, the existing associations in the Church didn’t quite address this yearning. Thus, some of the young women were leaving the Church to new-generation churches. This was coupled with the prevailing economic hardship.
Our name is “Catholic Sisters United in Christ” ( CSU).
Our motto is Sisters United in Christ: Body and Soul. Our patron saint is St. Rita of Cascia.
A Brief Of What We Do
We are women of faith – We organize prayers, retreats and ensure the spiritual growth of all members and also for the Church through a very collective means.
A Brief Of Our Objectives
To promote spiritual growth through praying, spiritual talks, Bible sharing and teachings of the Catholic faith as well as provide professional/social support for the benefit of her members and young Catholic women generally;

We’re the Catholic Sisters United in Christ (CSU).
A. We’re spiritual: We organise prayers, retreats, recollections, vigils, Blessed Sacrament Adoration, novenas, etc for spiritual growth of our members and the Church.
B. Who are we?…… We’re charitable: We visit, pray with, feed, pay school fees, throw party, provide gifts, introduce Christ to, organise Charity Walk, etc for the needy and less privileged in our society.
C. Who are we? …… We engage in direct services to the our parishes. We run snacks stand, care for the widows, Bible evangelism, scholarship scheme, cleaning of the church, organise / support harvest, organize children’s program and literally carry out any assignments given to us by the leadership of the Church.
D. Who are we?…… We’re social. We care for each other’s welfare.
a. We organise regular Love Feasts to unwind. We organize skill acquisition, workshops, garage sales, etc.
b. Are we there for you, for one another? Yes, we are. We’re there both when you rejoice or mourn. When you wed or have a baby, we celebrate with you. When you lose a parent or member of the nuclear family, be rest assured, we’ll follow you, stand by you, mourn with you all the way. We’ll be by your side to the last minute. In CSU, no sister is alone. No parish is alone.
c. We’re realistic – very realistic. We have platform for members to save/invest. We also have group life insurance. We run cooperative society.
We have group insurance as well as investment scheme. Interested sisters are encouraged to key in right away.
