Disciplinary Committee

CSU CODE OF CONDUCT

Discipline is the practice of making people obey rules or standards of behaviour. All complaints are made to the Executive Committee or any of its members. The Executive Committee shall be entitled to deal with the complaint and exercise disciplinary action as appropriate on all acts of indiscipline and misconduct. Penalties ranges from fines, suspension, or expulsion. However, such penalties are approved by the General Meeting before execution.

The code of conduct is applicable to the actions of members as it relates to the home, catholic faith, community life, and business dealings.

Members shall be upright, fair and honest in their interpersonal relationships.

All members and officers shall uphold and defend the constitution of the Association, be responsible and trustworthy.

All members shall eschew all forms of individualism and sectionalism, which are inimical to the solidarity and stability of the Association.

All members shall respect and abide by majority decisions.

Disqualification of members.

A member shall cease to be a member of the Association:

If she gives to the General Secretary written notice of resignation of her membership.

If she fails to pay any subscription within six(6) months after the due date of payments. (As long as the financial Secretary shall have given her three(3) months notice.)

If the member having committed some act or being guilty of behaviour inconsistent with the norms of the Association, and the Association resolves by a majority of three quarters of the General House to remove her from the Association

Lost membership shall

however be regained after due consideration by the General House and the payment of all debts owed prior to loss of membership

The disciplinary committee is a five man committee headed by a highly disciplined, matured and meticulous member appointed by the President.
